JUAN RULFO PRIZE FOR SHORT NOVEL 2004
Now a journalist and BBC correspondent in Buenos Aires, Martín Murphy while in London wrote a short novel, chosen, out of 689 other manuscripts, to be awarded the Juan Rulfo prize.The members of the jury were Juan José Saer, Javier Cercas, Julián Ríos, Manuel Rivas, Raphaelle Rerolle, Claude Fell, Michel del Castillo, Alberto Bensoussan, and Jorge Volpi, among others.
