| Poet, novelist, journalist Eusebio Lahoz has lived in Portugal, Germany, Italy, Uruguay, and Cuba, countries where he worked for various cultural media, such as Edizioni la Toore, Lateral, and El País Cultural of Montevideo, before settling in Madrid. Lahoz writes about literature and travel for several newspapers, among them, El Periódico de Cataluña and El Viajero (El País). His novel Leer del revés [Reading Backwards] (El Cobre, 2005) was considered by the Hispanist Committee of the University of Chambéry, France, the best first novel written in Spanish. At present he is giving the last touches to his second novel, Si te quieres ir [If You Want to Leave], and to another book of poems, Plaza Libertad [Freedom Plaza]. |
