2004 BIBLIOTECA BREVE PRIZE
Mauricio Electorat is a poet, storywriter and novelist. He was honored with the Biblioteca Breve 2004 price for his novel La burla del tiempo. El Paraíso tres veces al día, Nunca fui a Tijuana y otros cuentos were awarded the two most important Chilean prizes: the one granted by the Consejo Nacional del Libro y de la Lectura, and the Municipal Prize for Literature of the city of Santiago. He occupies a distinguished position in today’s Latin American fiction. |
