| Joseph Contreras is journalist for Newsweek since 1980, he has been Regional Editor for Latin America since July 2002, but had for years been directing Newsweek teams in different cities around the globe, such as Johannesburg and Jerusalem. A Harvard graduate he has received several prizes and recognition for his articles and reportages on political subjects.
